Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for purchasing From Kitchen to Bedroom. We take care when preparing and packing every order and want your book to arrive in excellent condition.

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to physical books purchased directly from Kitchen to Bedroom Website.

Change-of-Mind Returns

​

Please choose carefully, as we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds if you:

  • change your mind;

  • accidentally place an order;

  • decide that you no longer want the book;

  • do not like the content, design, or photography;

  • Find the book at a different price elsewhere; or

  • fail to read the product description before purchasing.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Books

​

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your book:

  • arrives damaged;

  • contains missing, duplicated, or incorrectly printed pages;

  • has a significant printing or binding defect;

  • is different from the book you ordered; orIt 

  • is substantially different from its description on our website.

To report a problem, please email info@kitchentobedroom.com.au and include:

  • Your full name;

  • your order number;

  • a description of the problem; and

  • clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item.

We may request additional information or ask you to return the book so that we can assess the problem.

Available Remedies

​

Your rights and the remedy available will depend on the nature of the problem and the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a book has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose between a replacement and a refund.

Where the problem is minor, we may first offer an appropriate remedy, which will usually be a replacement copy.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Proof of Purchase

We may ask you to provide proof that the book was purchased directly from our website.

Proof of purchase may include an order-confirmation email, invoice, receipt, order number, or another reasonable record of the transaction.

Returning a Book

​

Please contact us before returning a book. We will provide return instructions after reviewing your request.

Books returned without contacting us first may take longer to process.

Where a book is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect and a return is reasonably required, we will reimburse reasonable return-postage costs. Please keep your postage receipt.

We are not responsible for return-postage costs relating to a change-of-mind return that we have not agreed to accept.

Refunds

​

When a refund is approved, it will be issued using the original payment method unless another method is agreed upon with you.

We will process an approved refund within five business days. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

Where required by the Australian Consumer Law, the refund will include the amount paid for the affected product and any other amount that we are legally required to refund.

Signed or Personalised Copies

Signed, dedicated, or personalised books cannot be returned because of a change of mind.

However, these books remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law if they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or do not match what was ordered.

Purchases Made Through Amazon or Another Retailer

​

This policy applies only to orders placed directly through our website.

Books purchased through Amazon or another retailer must be returned through the retailer from which they were purchased and will be subject to that retailer’s applicable returns process and policies.
