These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit our website, use its features or purchase From Kitchen to Bedroom directly through our website.
In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kitchen to Bedroom. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the website or placing an order.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before making a purchase.

About Our Website

Our website provides information about and sells physical copies of From Kitchen to Bedroom.
Our website is operated from New South Wales, Australia.
Books purchased through Amazon or another retailer are subject to that retailer’s applicable terms, shipping arrangements and return process.

Eligibility to Place an Order

By placing an order, you confirm that:
-
The information you provide is complete and accurate;
-
You are legally capable of entering into the purchase;
-
You are authorised to use the selected payment method; and
-
where required, you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

We may take reasonable steps to verify an order before accepting it.

Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However:
-
Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and device settings;
-
Product packaging may change from time to time;
-
Minor variations may occur between printed copies, and
-
photographs may include styling items that are not included with the book.

Please read the complete product description before placing your order.

Nothing in this section excludes your rights if the product is materially different from its description or does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

Prices and Currency

Unless stated otherwise, all prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars.
Any applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted and for which payment has been successfully processed.

Pricing or Website Errors

We take reasonable care to provide accurate pricing and product information. Occasionally, a price, description, discount or availability status may be displayed incorrectly because of a technical or human error.

If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

We may offer you the choice to:
-
Proceed with the order using the correct information;
-
Select an available alternative, where appropriate; or
-
Cancel the affected order and receive a full refund of any amount paid for it.

We will not charge you an additional amount without your agreement.

Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the product on these Terms & Conditions.
After checkout, you may receive an automatic order-confirmation email. This confirms that we received your order, but does not necessarily mean that it has been finally accepted.

An order is accepted when:
-
payment has been successfully processed;
-
the product and delivery details have been confirmed; and
-
we begin preparing the order for dispatch or send confirmation that it has been accepted.

When We May Decline or Cancel an Order
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:
-
the product is unavailable;
-
payment is declined, reversed or cannot be verified;
-
the delivery information is incomplete or invalid;
-
there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;
-
the order appears to be placed for unlawful or unauthorised resale; or
-
we cannot reasonably fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the cancelled product and any associated shipping charge that is no longer required.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments may be processed by Wix or another third-party payment provider. The payment provider may apply its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete credit or debit card details.
An order will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully received.

Stock Availability

All orders are subject to stock availability.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep stock information current, a book may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.

If this happens, we will contact you and offer an appropriate option, which may include:
-
waiting for new stock where you agree;
-
choosing an available alternative where one exists; or
-
cancelling the unavailable item and receiving a full refund.

Pre-orders

A product clearly marked as a pre-order is not available for immediate dispatch.
Any expected publication or dispatch date displayed for a pre-order is an estimate and may change because of printing, production, freight, or other delays.
If a pre-order experiences a significant delay, we will provide an update and explain the available options.
You may contact us to request cancellation of a pre-order before it has been dispatched. This does not limit any other rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship direct website orders throughout Australia.
Shipping charges are paid by the customer and will be calculated and displayed at checkout before the order is submitted.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier delays, public holidays, weather and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Complete shipping, tracking, address and delivery information is available in our Shipping Information policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Delivery Information

You are responsible for checking that the recipient’s name, delivery address, postcode, email address and contact details are correct before submitting an order.

Please contact us promptly if you notice an error.
We will make reasonable efforts to update the delivery details before dispatch, but we may not be able to make changes once an order has been processed or sent.
Where an order is returned because incorrect or incomplete information was provided by the customer, reasonable redelivery charges may apply. This does not apply where the error was caused by us.

Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees
Our change-of-mind rules and the process for reporting damaged, faulty or incorrect books are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a replacement, refund or another appropriate solution depending on the nature of the problem.

Order Cancellations

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
We may agree to cancel an order before it has been packed or dispatched. However, cancellation may not be possible once processing or dispatch has begun.
A change-of-mind cancellation is not guaranteed unless required by law or expressly accepted by us.
Your rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed products are not affected.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the offer.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
discount codes must be entered before payment is completed;
-
only one discount code may be used per order;
-
codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
codes cannot be applied retrospectively;
-
codes may have an expiry date or usage limit; and
-
shipping charges may be excluded from a discount.

We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an error, misuse or suspected fraudulent activity. This will not affect an order already accepted unless we contact you and provide an appropriate option.

Gift Purchases

You may purchase a book for delivery to another person.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to provide the recipient’s name and delivery address and that the information is correct.
Gift purchases remain subject to these Terms & Conditions and our Returns & Refunds Policy.

-
is truthful and relates to your genuine experience;
-
does not infringe another person’s rights;
-
is not unlawful, threatening, abusive or discriminatory;

does not disclose another person’s private information without permission.

You retain ownership of your original content. By submitting it for publication, you give us permission to display, reproduce and format it for operating and promoting our website and products.
We may decline, hide or remove submitted content where we reasonably believe it breaches these rules or applicable law. We will not remove a genuine negative review merely because it is critical.

Acceptable Website Use

You must not:
-
use the website for an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or customer information;
-
introduce viruses, malicious code or harmful technology;
-
interfere with the website’s security or operation;
-

-
impersonate another person; or
-
use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our legal rights.

Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security issues, technical problems, provider outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to correct problems that are within our control.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to Amazon, Wix, payment providers, Australia Post, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or other third-party websites and services.
These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
A link does not necessarily mean that we control or endorse all content on the third-party website. You should review the applicable terms before using an external service.

Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
By using our website, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in that policy and in accordance with applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by:
-
your misuse of the website or product;
-
inaccurate information provided by you;
-
use of the book contrary to its instructions or warnings;
-
unauthorised access caused by your failure to protect your account or device;
-
third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control; or
-
circumstances that we could not reasonably prevent.

This section does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Where the law permits liability to be limited, any limitation will apply only to the extent that it is fair, reasonable and legally enforceable.

Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, transport disruptions, postal interruptions, government restrictions, major network failures or supplier disruptions.
If such an event significantly affects an accepted order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
Where we cannot fulfil the order within the agreed timeframe or a reasonable time, we will explain the available options and provide any remedy required by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when our website, products, services or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply from the date they are published. They will not unfairly alter the terms of an order that was already accepted before the update.

Severability

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only to the extent required.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms & Conditions, this does not mean that we permanently waive our right to enforce it later.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws.
The parties submit to the courts and tribunals that have lawful jurisdiction to resolve a dispute.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising any right they have to bring a claim in another jurisdiction where that right cannot legally be excluded.
