Thank you for ordering From Kitchen to Bedroom. Every book is carefully packed to help protect it during delivery.

​

This Shipping Information page applies to physical book orders placed directly through our website.

​

Where We Ship

​

We currently ship to residential and business addresses throughout Australia.

International shipping is not currently available through our website.

Books purchased through Amazon or another retailer are shipped according to that retailer’s delivery policies.

​

Order Processing

​

Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment has been successfully received.

​

Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During book launches, promotional periods, public holidays, or unusually busy periods, dispatch may take a little longer. We will contact you if there is a significant delay affecting your order.

Shipping Costs

​

Shipping costs are paid by the customer and will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

​

The shipping charge may depend on:

  • the delivery address;

  • the number of books ordered;

  • the parcel’s packaged weight and dimensions; and

  • The selected Australia Post delivery service.

​

The total shipping cost will be clearly displayed before you place your order.

​

Delivery

Orders are sent via Australia Post with tracked delivery where available.

​

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination, including whether the address is located in a metropolitan, regional or remote area.

​

Delivery estimates begin after the order has been dispatched and are estimates only. Delays may occur because of public holidays, severe weather, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

​

Tracking

​

Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent to the email address provided with your order after the parcel has been dispatched.

​

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the shipping confirmation is issued.

​

Please check your junk or spam folder if you do not receive your shipping confirmation email.

​

Delivery Address

​

Customers are responsible for checking that the name, delivery address, postcode, and contact details entered during checkout are correct.

​

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.

​

We will try to update the delivery address before dispatch, but changes may not be possible after the order has been processed or sent.

​

If an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, additional postage costs may apply before the order is sent again.

​

This does not apply where the addressing error was caused by us.

​

Missed Deliveries and Unclaimed Parcels

​

If nobody is available to receive the parcel, Australia Post may:

  • leave the parcel in a safe location;

  • Take it to a collection point;

  • leave delivery instructions; or

  • attempt another delivery.

​

Customers are responsible for checking their tracking information and collecting the parcel within the timeframe provided by Australia Post.

​

If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, reasonable redelivery charges may apply.

​

Delayed or Missing Orders

​

Please check your tracking information and allow the estimated delivery period to pass before reporting an order as delayed.

​

If your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact us and include:

  • Your full name;

  • your order number;

  • your delivery address; and

  • any available tracking information.

​

We will contact Australia Post and investigate the delivery.

If we are unable to supply or deliver your order within the agreed timeframe or within a reasonable time, we will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Parcels Marked as Delivered

​

If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please:

  • Check around the delivery location;

  • ask other members of your household;

  • check with neighbours, reception, or building management; and

  • Review any delivery photograph or instructions provided by Australia Post.

​

If the parcel still cannot be found, please contact us so we can investigate the delivery.

​

Books Damaged During Delivery

​

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your book arrives damaged.

​

Please include:

  • Your full name;

  • your order number;

  • clear photographs of the damaged book;

  • clear photographs of the external packaging; and

  • a photograph of the shipping label.

​

Please keep the book and its packaging until we have reviewed the matter.

​

Damaged, faulty or incorrect books will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

​

Nothing in this Shipping Information page excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
